How We Started
In 2018, a group of geographers and educators gathered in Melbourne with a shared frustration: geography education had become too abstract, too disconnected from the physical realities it was meant to explain.
Students could memorise facts about erosion patterns but had never examined a riverbank. They knew the names of rock types but had never held one. The subject that should inspire wonder about our planet had instead become a series of diagrams in textbooks.
